This guide is designed to help you make the most out of the site, please use the links below or the site map to navigate through our help pages.

We have structured this site so that each case study has a variable number of images. Every case has within it areas of free text with clinical details, teaching points and technical details.

Every image also has free text describing the specific characteristics of the image as well as teaching points and technical details relating to that image.

In addition fixed predetermined lists have been used for age, diagnosis, image characteristics etc. There is a friendly skeleton to assist in localising the area of interest.

The site has a search engine that will allow the user to find cases and/or images based on a free text search or a search by case for known diagnosis or a search for specific image characteristics.

Search Options

The results of any search are displayed firstly as 'thumbnail' images of different cases that correspond. The individual case is then displayed with all its images. Options for 'thumbnail' display are also available.

The light purple colour means that option has been selected while the dark purple colour are the options still available. This applies to all searches as well as results of cases
